Now that the holidays are behind us, we’ve upgraded the studio PC—nicknamed “Vader” for obvious reasons. Vader is a beast. The upgrade has significantly improved system stability, session load times, and overall workflow, especially during larger overdub and mix sessions. More headroom, smoother playback, and fewer interruptions mean we can stay focused on the music.
Recently, we’ve been concentrating on overdubs and detail work—vocal overdubs, harmony stacks, and acoustic instrument layers—paying close attention to mic placement, gain staging, and tonal balance. These final passes are often where a recording really comes together.
With the studio fully dialed in and the new year underway, we’re ready to jump into new projects and help artists get their recordings across the finish line.
